I have over 200 subscriptions and only 5 actively update their weblogs.  I think it's time for me to update this thing.  High school is going to end in mere months (3 months to be precise).  Four years of high school was a trip--not the best one, but it was a stage, a chapter.  I've learned much about myself.  I've learned much about my friends.  I can't say that I changed a lot-- I really did not.

My attitude reflecting high school may be too pessimistic for people to acknowledge.  I felt I did not make the best of it.  I can blame the school, itself.  I can blame the people who make it up.  Either way, "the high school" experience that I faced for four years was not too great.  The idiocy and the immaturity that I see around school.  The constant food throwing and cutting in lunch lines.  The ignorance displayed towards other students.  The lack of participatoin and cooperation from the students, overall.  The leadership class itself not really "leading," but doing bitch work--doesn't "leadership" mean bringing people into the light, getting others involved?  The whole class is just a fucking contradiction.  I'm really fed up with high school.

The classes this year are not hard.  The only thing hard about this year is just doing work.  My work ethics and that "ambitious" mentality that I used to have have retrogressed.  Even my english and writing style has deteriorated.  I am at my all time low this year.

I really can't wait until I graduate so I can embrace freedom, to embrace individuality, to practice REAL leadership--more student-led stuff, no more Foster!  Only a few weeks until colleges notify you if you get in or not.  Hopefully, Berkeley will see something in me.

Anyway, on a brighter note.  The new Daphne cd is amazing.  WOW.

bye

LOL!!

Believe it or not, Boys' State is probably one of my major highlights of my life, at the moment.  It's crazy how you can meet so many individuals who are wayy better than you in different aspects.  From kids who have 5.0 GPAs; to the most involved to the most influential leaders to the most athletic and to the most craziest, Boys' State was such a unique experience.  And yes, it was a huge sausage fest at times because we had all-guys dance parties whenever I turned the music in my room.  My room became "party central"-- hahah!  I love the city of Larkin aka L-Town.  Although, we didn't win many awards (model city), we probably had the best time out of everyone! Although we were not successful, politically, we were sucessful, socially!  We were so united, ahah!  We like had the most spirit, toooo!  It was a good experience.  I truly believe the people who were at Boys' State this year will be something big in the future.  No doubt.  We got future leaders of America, here.

I saw AHHHHHHHNOLD give a speech, also.  Got damn, that dude is short; i could have sworn he was taller in the movies.  Good stuff.  What a way to start the first week of summer at Boys' State, HAHAH!  I'm serious though.  This program is great, despite the shortage and lack of females.  No regrets.  For the incoming juniors, if you get selected to go Boys' State, go for it---it'll have many advantages; 1) you might come out of your closet 2) you'll break out of your shell and become ultra gooood public speaker 3) you'll become more comfortable with your sexuality 4) you're going to be more knowledgeable in our democratic government.

Nowwwww, I'm going to go to another summer institute.  This one is called SASC (Southeast Asian Student Coalition) at UC Berkeley.  I'm leaving on Friday.  1 down, 3 more to go!

I'm $300 in debt.  Fuck sneakers, mayne. :[

however, i'm loving these; i got my vans on, but they really do look like sneakers

Recollections of Imperfections

What I learned this year:

1) Grades aren't EVERYTHING, c'mon people.
2) Whatever happens, happens-- no stressin' over on it
3) Having 252525252 friends doesn't mean every single one of them is close to you.
4) $$ comes and go quickkkkkkkk
5) Speeding in local areas when it's vacant/no one is in it can get you a speeding ticket
6) You get what you pay for.
7) Junior Year is the fastest year out of all high school years possibly.
8) I always say I'm fat, but I never do anything about it.
9) My childhood was not that bad.
10) Business peoples are incredibly deceiving-- you have to be deceiving, CREAM GET THE MONEY, DOLLA DOLLA BILL YA'LL
11) People who try to beef up their college applications suck ass when they don't do anything in what they join.

Being up at 3 AM, the morning prior to when I have to leave for Sacramento for Boys State is such a bad idea.  Unfortunately, I have to spend my first week with 900 boys all over Califiornia with no female contact at all.  Isn't that wonderful?  I hope I don't turn gay!

I recently got a job at Macy's Oakridge.  Guess what department I work in?  Yeah yeah, no.. not the Men's Department.  Yeah, that's right.. Fine Jewelry!  My co-workers are old middle-aged women in their 40's, GG.  Visit me sometime, I can hook peoples up with discount on any Macy's merchandise! :]  It would be cool if other peoples hooked me up, also.  We can all have a network of discount, hook-ups!

If you have a gun, point it towards the sky at a perpendicular angle, and shoot.  What will happen to the bullet?  Will it fall down?  Will it go all the way into space?
